As a sales support estimator, you will be working as part of the sales support team undertaking the daily activities of the department. You will be working with the global sales team, assisting in achieving business targets.
You will work alongside internal and external colleagues managing documentation and ensuring pricing requests are met in line with the internal and external customer requirements.
The Sales Support Estimator will be responsible for a portion of the pipeline of work within the Sales Support department as assigned by the Sales Support Lead and will ensure that all verbal communication and written documentation are both accurate and informative and prepared and dispatched in a timely manner.
The Sales Support Estimator will typically undertake the following day-to-day tasks:
* Interpretation of Customer Documents
* Liaising with Sales Personnel to understand client requirements
* Timely preparation of customer quotations
* Technical Submissions
* Project Approval Packs
* Ad-Hoc Technical Support
* Provision of Supporting Documentation
Experience required:
* Strong customer focus with a passion to ensure that customer needs are met on time and right first time.
* Proven ability to translate technical documentation and architectural drawings into compliant and inclusive product and/or service offerings.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks in line with customer requirements and current workload.
* Able to competently discuss customer requirements and assist in advising them while accurately qualifying and identifying potential solutions to meet their requirements.
* Sets and maintains high performance standards for self and others.
* Works effectively and collaboratively with others to implement integrated plans and manage change.
