BakerBrown Studio are looking to hire a fully qualified Architect (RIBA Part III equivalent) with at least 3 years post-qualification experience and an Architectural Assistant (RIBA Part II or equivalent) or an Architectural Technician (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) or equivalent qualifications).
Successful candidates will work on numerous projects with a construction cost varying from £500k-£15million +. We are looking for someone who has experience developing the design of numerous building typologies from RIBA Work Stage 0-7, including developing the design of a building to a scale of 1:5, writing NBS Specifications and coordinating the scheme design with the rest of the design team. Experience with RIBA 5/6 is essential. The successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for good quality authentic low carbon sustainable design, as well as an informed and developing position around climate literacy.
We are expecting successful candidates to be able to work independently, as well as being part of an expanding team of talented architects. Candidates will be able to work on projects meeting the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge and the demands of an expanding portfolio of projects with ambitions to meet Net Zero Carbon Targets.
We use VectorWorks, Revit, InDesign, MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino and SketchUp. So, it would be good if you could demonstrate experience with this collection of software.
