As a H&SE Manager you will be the H&SE lead for the site of > staff and will motivate and lead a culture of best practice Health and Safety on the site, hopefully allowing for that ‘lightbulb’ moment in each of them.
Responsibilities:
1. Supports delivery of the HSE plans & projects.
2. Reviews HSE performance & produces reports for directors and managers
3. Collaborates actively & visibly with all areas of the business, promoting excellent relationships to mutual benefit
4. Challenges the status quo and champions a culture of continuous improvement and excellence while focussing on maximising profits and reducing costs
5. Help drive the continual improvement of our Health, Safety and Environment performance
6. Contributes to developing the HSE strategy and plans
7. coordinates activities across the whole business, such as audits, workshops, and training
8. Benchmarks and networks externally, keeping abreast of relevant developments in HSE, including legislation, seeking out best practice
