This is an exciting opportunity to join our Diabetes administration team.
You will be working as part of a team providing high quality audio typing and clerical duties for the department, working closely with the Speciality Medical PAs.

Main duties of the job
You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent audio typing skills,good organisational and communication skills with a soundtyping background.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, be well motivated and reliable. You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. The ability to manage your time and prioritise your workload whilst remaining patient focused is essential.
You will be responsible for the audio typing of clinical correspondence within specified timescales. You will need to be a fast and accurate audio typist with knowledge of medical terminology. You will also be able to prioritise your workload with constantly changing demands, to meet agreed deadlines. You will be able to use your own initiative and respond to queries appropriately.

1. 4 GCSE's or equivalent C or above - must include English
2. Computer literate to ECDL standard or equivalent.

3. RSA II typing /word processing or equivalent experience

5. Experience in using Microsoft Office and Outlook
6. Proven audio typing experience
