SEN Primary Teacher – Manchester (M14)
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a SEN Primary Teacher to work with a PMLD class with complex needs. The incoming teacher would be entering a vibrant and caring educational institution committed to providing outstanding support and education to children with complex needs. The incoming teacher will plan and deliver creative and individualized lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students with complex needs. This will involve implementing effective teaching strategies, including visual aids, sensory activities, and adaptive technologies to enhance learning experiences.
The successful applicant with work closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to the students' development and progress. This will involve creating personalised learning plans (EHCPs) and monitor student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed. They will foster a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes emotional well-being and self-confidence in every student.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification for Primary Education.
* Proven experience working with students with complex needs.
* Strong understanding of various complex needs, such as autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities.
* Adaptability and patience to meet the individual needs of each student and create a personalized learning journey.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) to work with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
