About the Role
Keighley College is looking for an outstanding Course Leader for Law who will teach on our A Levels and support the implementation of T Level.

What You Will Do
1. Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
2. Be responsible for recording student progress, motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.
3. Reflect on what works best in teaching and learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
4. Adapt curriculum delivery methods to maximise their effectiveness, including through the use of technology.
5. Plan, prepare and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources including the development of online learning resources for identified modules.
6. Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods for identified modules.
7. Develop and employ effective assessment activities for identified modules.
8. Assess student work, provide constructive and timely feedback to motivate and inspire the learner to improve and record learners’ progress for identified modules.
About You
9. You will hold an Honours Degree in a relevant subject, have relevant experience in teaching these to 16-18 year-olds up to level 3.
10. Holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE)
11. Inspire, motivate and engage the next generation of law practitioners
12. Act with honesty and integrity to maintain high standards of ethics and professional standards.
13. Manage and promote restorative practice approaches and the strengthening of relationships.
14. Role model and promote a positive image of the college.
15. Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements
