We are looking for a positive, energetic and innovative individual to oversee capital green Energy projects that will transform our Housing stock. The role shall include the contract administration of projects using the JCT suite of contracts.
The role will be working within the Housing Property services Team who are responsible for the maintenance of the circa 3800 Council owned properties.
You will take a lead role in the delivery of the Green Homes Grant Delivery scheme and develop future programmes on home energy efficiency. Typical measures to be included within the scope of works will be the installation of External Wall Insulation and renewable energy heating systems
We are looking for someone with excellent inter-personal skills, a track record of successful project delivery and the ability to work on their own initiative and to tight deadlines. If this sounds like you then please read on!
What we need from you:
- Experience of working in housing sector/facilities management
- Trade background; or National Certificate in Construction or equivalent relevant qualification; or Relevant experience within a surveying, property and construction related background
- Ability to undertake inspections of properties for a number of building related purposes
- Willingness to complete relevant formal training courses to attain qualifications relevant to the role
