Role Description
We’re looking for a 'Sponsorship and Partnership Manager' to join our growing team and help us secure sponsorships and partnerships for Climate Dice. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in scaling our impact by bringing on partners who share our mission to empower young people with the knowledge and mindset to tackle climate change.
You will work closely with the CEO and Creator of Climate Dice to develop and implement strategies to engage corporate sponsors, NGOs, and other partners, driving the next phase of our growth. You’ll be working remotely and have the flexibility to manage your hours, making it a great role for someone who values work-life balance but is also driven by purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
Sponsorship & Partnership Development:
* Identify and engage potential sponsors (corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit) aligned with our mission of promoting education for sustainability.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
* Develop and pitch tailored partnership proposals to secure large-scale sponsorships (100-1,000 sets of Climate Dice) and long-term collaborations.
Fundraising & Grant Applications:
* Collaborate with the team to identify fundraising opportunities, including grants and strategic partnerships.
* Lead the creation of funding proposals, sponsorship packages, and related materials.
PR & Marketing Support:
* Work with the team to create compelling marketing and PR materials that showcase the value of sponsoring Climate Dice.
* Support content creation (photos, videos, case studies) to highlight the impact of sponsorships for use in partner communications.
* Assist in managing sponsor activations and events, including workshops and school twinning initiatives.
Reporting & Impact:
* Track sponsorship and partnership outcomes, ensuring deliverables are met, and prepare regular impact reports for sponsors, detailing visibility, PR outcomes, and measurable impact.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure sponsors receive updates, photos, and videos of their contributions in action.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with the CEO and the Climate Dice team to ensure alignment between sponsorship strategies and organizational goals.
* Act as an advocate for Climate Dice’s mission in all communications, both internally and externally.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience:
* Minimum of 3-5 years in partnership management, sponsorship sales, or corporate social responsibility (CSR) roles, ideally within the sustainability or education sectors.
* Proven success in securing and managing corporate partnerships and sponsorships.
* Experience in nonprofit fundraising or securing grants is a plus.
Skills:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across corporate and nonprofit sectors.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and reports.
* Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and remotely.
Passion for Climate and Education:
* Deep interest in sustainability and a passion for educating young people about climate change.
* An understanding of the challenges faced by communities in the Global South and how education can be a transformative tool for change.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing partnerships and tracking progress.
* Competence in Google Workspace and other collaborative tools.
