Eastcott Veterinary Hospital is an RCVS Accredited Multidisciplinary Referral Practice based in Swindon, Wiltshire, just off the M4. Our referral hospital is led by a team of Veterinary Specialists who provide an exceptionally high level of clinical and surgical veterinary care. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in all disciplines, and our team offers a warm welcome to referring vets, clients, and patients.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a forward-thinking, proactive and enthusiastic individual who strives to provide the very best care for their patients. We encourage a collaborative approach, empowering all team members to communicate openly with their ideas and improvements.
You will be welcomed into a team of skilled and encouraging nurses, vets, support staff and physiotherapists. Personal development and professional progression is supported, encouraged and celebrated. Our ward members play a central role within the nursing team, caring for a range of patients from across the disciplines including neurology, soft tissue, orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, medicine and cardiology. You will also work within our 24/7 ICU, nursing emergency and critical care patients.
This position is open to full time and part time applications. The hours are 4pm-12am, Monday to Friday with the occasional need for night duty cover. Weekends are 1:8 with time off in lieu.
