Join our team as a Production Planner and be an integral part of our client's manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of customer orders.
2. Collaborate with the Shop Floor Supervisor to allocate work efficiently and meet customer-required dates.
3. Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules to align manufacturing capacities with customer demands.
4. Oversee material and component control, ensuring smooth flow through production and subcontractors to final delivery.
5. Establish effective communication with customers and provide excellent customer service.
6. Maintain strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in production control within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Excel is necessary.
* Good numeracy skills and understanding of calculations.
* Desirable: experience in a mechanical or machine shop environment.
