You would be based in one of our restaurants working alongside our amazing team of chefs and cooks. The Role In this role you'll help to ensure that the facilities in our kitchens are maintained to the highest standards. We need people to help keep the strictest levels of cleanliness in the food preparation areas, by working closely with all of the Chefs in our busy kitchens. Working straight shifts on a rota basis, the role offers excellent prospects for those interested in a career as a Chef or any other aspect of the catering industry. We proactively seek to develop all of our employees who show promise. Job Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include Supporting chefs with basic food preparation. This may involve cutting, peeling and washing food items Keeping the kitchen clean and providing a safe working environment for all Preparing the kitchen area prior to service Supporting with deliveries and making sure stock is tidy Working as part of a team to ensure the operation runs smoothly Washing and cleaning dishes Pay & Benefits You will be working full time or part time on a seasonal variable contract, with an hourly rate up to £11.44 dependant on age.
