The Opportunity As the Front of House Manager, you will be a key figure in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience, ensuring the highest standards of service. Reporting to the Operations Manager, youll lead, mentor, and inspire the team to exceed expectations and uphold the hotels reputation for excellence. Key responsibilities Manage and oversee all front-of-house operations. Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining and improving service standards. Lead and develop a high-performing team through recruitment, training, and performance management. Monitor and optimise operational efficiency, including scheduling and resource allocation in line with business need. Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and a proactive approach. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Drive revenue growth through upselling and strategic planning initiatives. Duty Manager responsibilities. What Were Looking For Proven experience in a similar role, within a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellence. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. A collaborative and hands on approach to guest service delivery. Excellent IT skills with previous experience in Hotel Management Systems (previous experience of Opera would be adventageous). A flexible approach to work, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
