Due to continuing expansion our client, a national manufacturing company, is actively seeking an experienced, dedicated, and proactive Regional Sales Manager to complement their growing team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, responsibilities will include. · Responsible for securing sales, customer satisfaction and loyalty to the company brand · Search for new business within the core customer base and identify who will benefit from new products or services and maximise client potential. · To be able to influence and demonstrate the benefits of our offering against alternatives in a tough and competitive marketplace. · Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs. · Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts. · Provide pre-sales assistance and product education, sale benefits. · Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required. · Arrange and carry out product training. · Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records. · Meet and exceed sales targets and coordinate sales projects. · Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events. · Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs. · Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts. As a successful candidate you will have a previous background within sales/account management, be credible and confident to attend client visits, always display exceptional organisational and communication skills together with a professional approach to work. Experience using a CRM system would be an advantage as would a working knowledge of Excel and other MS packages. A current driving licence is also essential.
