Full-Time KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Hounslow
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in Key Stage 2 (KS2)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Hounslow area. This role is focused on providing tailored support to a pupil in KS2 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), with additional funding in place to ensure the right candidate can assist in their academic and personal development.
In this fulfilling role, you will be working closely with one student in Key Stage 2, providing 1:1 support to help them succeed in their learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 support to a child in KS2, helping them engage with the curriculum
* Assisting with academic progress by adapting lessons and tasks to meet their needs
* Supporting the child with emotional and social development, fostering independence
* Encouraging the child in social interactions and ensuring their overall well-being
This is an initially temporary position, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role for the right candidate.
* Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
* Start Date: ASAP
* Pay: Competitive rates, based on qualifications, experience, and references
Minimum Requirements:
* Desirable Qualifications: TA qualification, SEN training, or Early Years qualification preferred
* Experience: Prior experience working with children, particularly in Key Stage 2, and with SEN, is essential
* DBS Check: You must hold a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new DBS check
* Eligibility: Applicants must reside in the UK and have the right to work
