Summary As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit. Salary: £11.64 Contract/duration: Fixed term until 3 November 2025. Hours/working pattern: This is a flexible role, but we would anticipate a usual working pattern of 3 days per week, including weekend and bank holiday days. What it's like to work here With over 60 miles of spectacular coastline, rich in wildlife and history, North Cornwall stretches from just south of Newquay to the north of Bude. Sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs attract a large number of visitors every year and we are looking to fill 3 roles to work across our busy sites at Holywell, Crantock, Carnewas and Trevose. (Due to the geographical spread of the sites, we ask that applicants can commit to working a minimum of two of these locations). Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a team of 30 working in North Cornwall. This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role, on a rota basis. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible. What you'll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. In busy times you'll also assist with traffic management. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.
