Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm

About the role
As a Youth Tutor, you will work closely with students to provide individualised tutoring sessions, support their learning needs, and inspire them to achieve their potential.
Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) is a Welsh Government initiative that provides work experience and training opportunities to young people and unemployed individuals, enhancing their employability and supporting job creation in various sectors.
Your impact
1. Delivering training sessions using a variety of teaching methods to engage, support, and motivate learners to enhance their skills and progression opportunities.
2. Develop creative lesson plans incorporating differentiated teaching styles and activities to ensure a quality learning experience.
3. Planning and supporting the learner in their individual learning journey.
4. Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications to a quality standard in a timely fashion.
What are we looking for?
Essential
1. Experience working with young people and/or being passionate about making a difference.
2. Engaging and inspirational training and delivery style.
3. Willingness to work towards CAVA qualification or 8375 practitioners Award Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
4. Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
