Sandwell College Group is looking for a dedicated, full-time Careers Officer to provide expert guidance, support, and resources to students across all our campuses. In this permanent role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with students to explore their potential, develop employability skills, and navigate career pathways tailored to their individual ambitions., As a Careers Officer, your role will involve some traveling between campuses to deliver personalised advice, conduct workshops, and foster strong connections with industry partners. Your contributions will play a vital part in enhancing our students' career prospects and ensuring they are well-prepared for the next steps in their education or professional lives.
A Level 6 qualification in Careers Advice and Guidance is required. The role requires experience in delivering one-on-one advice and guidance to a diverse range of students in an educational setting, along with a background in providing Careers Education Guidance (CEG) to both small and large groups. Additionally, experience working with young people with additional needs is desirable. Due to the nature of this role we need someone who is willing and able to travel and work at our different campuses across the West Midlands.
