What you’ll be doing We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Financial Operations at On the Beach The Head of Operational Finance is responsible for delivering scalable finance open rations covering key transactional processes including sales orders to cash and purchase to pay. The role will support the Finance Director in developing and strengthening the financial control and reporting function to optimise efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Oversee and develop the operational finance function and team to enhance financial systems, processes, and controls Run month end close process for operational finance ledgers ensuring transactions are correctly posted within the balance sheet and P&L's in accordance with the correct accounting treatment and standards Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk effectively to ensure the Group's growth strategy Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company reconciliations and ensure timely settlement of inter-company accounts Reviewing end-to-end process maps and suggesting and implementing improvements to improve efficiencies in transaction processing. Defining KPI suite to track the performance of key transactional processes Leading a scalable and lean Finance Operations team using efficient process and automation to ensure best-in-class service whilst maintaining a sufficient but low growth cost base. Working on continuous improvements and other finance projects as required Manage external relationships with key contacts such as banks and virtual card issuers About you: Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) Deep knowledge of best-in-class O2C and P2P processes and delivery frameworks A strong leader driving a high-quality and on time delivery mindset Excellent knowledge of systems Netsuite experience desirable but not required What to expect from our interview process We will have a two-stage interview process for this position that will consist of a first stage in person with our Head of Finance and a second stage interview with our Head of Finance and our CFO. Both interviews will be at our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre. We want to make sure everybody has the opportunity to perform at their best. Ways of working Our full time hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work. We also have hybrid working so we all work from home and from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre.
