Mobile Maintenance Electrician - Manchester - National Facilities Management
CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join a leading national facilities management provider on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established organisation delivering first-class services across a wide range of industries.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial environments, with proven expertise in diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
This is a mobile role, covering Manchester and surrounding areas.
Package:
1. Competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
2. Company van & fuel card provided
3. Core hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
4. Participation in an on-call rota (details to be confirmed)

Responsibilities:
1. Carry out routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential faults and ensure compliance
2. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and maximise equipment lifespan
3. Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring systems are fully operational with minimal disruption
4. Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
5. Work closely with other maintenance staff and external contractors to coordinate repair works and system upgrades
6. Ensure all work is carried out in line with current health & safety regulations and company procedures
Qualifications:
1. Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
2. Proven experience in a Maintenance Electrician role within the facilities management sector
3. Full UK driving licence
4. Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and compliance requirements
5. Confident in fault finding, diagnosing, and resolving issues independently
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail
7. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-focused approach
