Job Description: Department EDF Trading's Human Resources team are based in London and Houston and provide a full range of HR support to all the Company’s offices. Position purpose To be a trusted advisor to the business, using expertise to deliver the HR priorities in line with the business strategy. Main responsibilities Managing employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy. Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills. Advise line managers on the terms and conditions of employment and share best practice knowledge with them. Assist in managing talent and succession planning process. Assist in managing the leaning and development strategy Help drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals. Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation. Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary. Support change management processes. Experience required The ideal candidate will be a highly credible individual with a proven track record in developing, managing and implementing HR strategies across a range of business areas. They will have the ability to gain credibility, influence decision making and negotiate at all levels. They will have a broad range of HR experience and will be happy to do a mix of operational and strategic work. Technical requirements Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification Experience of utilising HR systems (Workday) Strong understanding of employment law. High level computing skills, particularly Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
