Sustainability Reporting Analyst - UK and Ireland (12 Month Fixed Contract)

This role is a 12 Month Fixed Contract.
Role responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Reporting:
* Prepare reports to comply with environmental legislation across UK&I (e.g., Packaging & Waste Reporting (2007, 2024), Plastic Packaging Tax, reporting for Repak in Ireland).
* Validate sustainability data, reconciling multiple data sources.
* Monitor sustainability-related legislation. Redefine sustainability reporting requirements based on the changes on legislation / guidance provided by external agencies.
* Continuously improve the processes associated with environmental reporting.
* Manage the purchasing process for Packaging Recovery Notes (PRNs), ensuring compliance with recycling obligations.
Customer-Focused Sustainability Reporting:
* Coordinate preparation of sustainability reports as requested by customers (e.g., packaging data, carbon footprint analysis).
External Agency and Scheme Management:
* Liaise with and manage relationships with external agencies, including scheme operators like Clarity Environmental.
Internal Communication and Compliance Updates:
* Report on compliance status and share internal results with the compliance steering committee.
Minimum Requirements:
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection, manipulation and visualization tools (Excel, PowerBI);
* Ability to interpret sustainability-related legislation;
* Previous experience in sustainability and/or data analysis and reporting;
* Good communication skills, good at establishing and maintaining relationships and promoting collaboration;
* System savvy; experience with SAP R3P/BW is beneficial.
