Salary Range: £45,500 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday, with flexible hours to accommodate working with colleagues in the USA and early morning/late evening events/meetings
Location: London, UK (Hybrid working)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Part-time 0.8 FTE will be considered)

What you can expect
In this Senior Finance Manager role, you will be a key part of the most prominent transatlantic trade membership organisation and a tight-knit team who are committed to British American Business’ (BAB) mission, our work and colleagues. Your role is to manage the finance operations working closely with the Executive Director, London and Finance Controller, New York. You will also work with our membership and events teams. This role has responsibility for providing all bookkeeping and accountancy services to BAB London and includes producing management accounts for the UK operations. This means you will:
Accounts
* Prepare budgets across events, membership and policy departments.
* Prepare six monthly and monthly accounts.
* Manage bank administration, transfers and reconciliation.
* Keep financial records including invoicing, VAT, accounts receivable and payable.
* Invoice preparation and debt collection.
* Payroll, P35s and P11Ds.
* Work with auditors and year-end accounts.
HR
* Manage annual leave adjustments in HR software.
* Check right to work documents.
* Coordinate expenditure reimbursements.
* Assist with HR Handbook updates by working with our out-sourced HR advisors.
* Manage relationships for company benefits providers including pension, health insurance and EAP.
Office Management
* Manage office supplies, equipment rentals and purchases, phone service.
* Oversee payment and billing for Serviced Office Provider.
IT
* Work with third party software relating to HR, Payroll, Credit Card Payments.
* Work closely with IT Services Provider.
* Work with third party supplier payment software for accounts receivable.
About You:
This role is ideally suited for a candidate who may be part-qualified in managing accounts and finance operations for a small business, highly organised, has an attention to detail and who can establish and repeat processes. The successful candidate will:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified, finalist or part qualified.
* Offer an organised and detailed approach.
* Master third party payment software.
* Be capable of multi-tasking between two line-managers.
* Have experience with the UK financial regulatory environment for not-for-profit organisations.
