Job Overview:
We are seeking a caring and energetic Nursery Nurse to join our early years team in Padiham, Burnley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for young children, helping to support their early development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with young children (ages 0-5), supporting their physical, social, and emotional development.
2. Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
3. Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring they meet developmental milestones.
4. Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
1. Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
2. Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
3. A caring and patient nature with a passion for working with children.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
5. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
