We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Worker to join our team and report to the Service Manager. This key role involves supervising and supporting your team while ensuring high-quality care for service users. You will manage daily operations, including staff planning, medication processes, and contributing to care plans and quality improvement. You will also provide management cover when needed and maintain a safe and secure environment.
This is a 21 hours per week post, worked over three days, with seven hours per day. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes working on bank holidays and weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
In this role, you will supervise staff and support their recruitment and development, identify training needs, and assist with health and safety matters. You will also organise and participate in staff meetings. Upholding our Christian ethos and ensuring sensitive, respectful care is central to this role. Candidates must hold a relevant SVQ level 3, have basic computer skills, and possess a Christian faith. Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and SSSC registration is required.
