We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher with a passion for working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join our friendly, supportive team. The successful candidate will work with pupils with diverse needs and learning profiles, adapting teaching approaches to help all students reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that are adapted to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes engagement and positive behavior.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and the pastoral team to create a well-rounded educational experience for each child.
- Implement strategies and interventions to support the specific learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of students.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support for each student.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience in working with SEN students or a willingness to develop SEN expertise.
- Flexibility in teaching any subject with the ability to adapt to the unique needs and interests of students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A nurturing approach to building positive relationships with students, fostering self-confidence, and encouraging independence.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
