It’s an exciting time to join the Operational Excellence Team here at AXA UK where we’ve an opportunity for an individual to join the team as a Business Process Management Lead. Reporting into the Head of Operational Excellence, you’ll work with business areas across AXA UK & Ireland to solve business problems, define and analyse the current state, leading to the design and delivery of measurable improvements.
We recognise the need for opportunities leveraged by having a well-controlled and up to date documented process repository. The Centre of Excellence (CoE) has been created to act as a central point for the whole of AXA UK&I to learn and share best practice, agree and maintain standards and to administer the process modelling tool (Aris).

What you’ll be doing:
1. Lead Business Process Centre of Excellence to support the build assurance and development of an Enterprise Business Process Model / Repository in order to have an integrated view of the Enterprise
2. Work closely with the business units and central functions to agree and monitor quality standards and to drive alignment
3. Ensure data sources are up to date and fit for purpose
4. Work with Business Architecture to design and develop a coherent framework to enable best practice sharing and deliver tangible value to the business
5. Seek and share best practice in process discovery and analysis and business activity monitoring using process mining through developing connections with external communities
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are gaining maximum value from the Repository
7. Upskill existing Business Analysts in the team on process modelling and analysis
8. Support reporting and queries from the community
9. Act as advocate to integrate strategy into transformation portfolios, individual initiatives and business cases, including operating model impacts
10. Apply lean and/or six sigma methods to support the operational excellence agenda

What we’re looking for:
11. Expert in recognised Process Modelling methodologies such as BPMN and EPC
12. Experienced in the design and development of Process Modelling Repositories to drive value (Aris knowledge preferred)
13. Lean Sigma Green Belt / Lean Practitioner accredited (preferred)
14. Proven analytical techniques and quantitative skills
15. Facilitation and influencing skills
16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
17. Awareness of project management disciplines and the end-to-end project lifecycle
