This position is suited to an experienced Engineering Manager, to become a critical part of the Senior Leadership Team for a well-known food manufacturer for their operation in Grimsby.
This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in engineering management and demonstrable strengths in leading and developing a team of engineers and the ability to deliver on high-value projects, and management of change programs within this fast-moving food manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, develop and mentor the engineering team to ensure operational excellence and the achievement of TPM and OEE targets.
2. Accountable for high-value capital expenditure projects from conception to completion, ensuring they deliver value and efficiency to the business.
3. Drive significant change programmes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to support company objectives.
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
6. Influence positive change through business.
7. Present and part-take in senior leadership meetings; communicating strategic plans, reviews and outcomes.
About you:
1. You will be qualified with a recognised engineering qualification, such as a HNC/ HND, degree in Engineering or similar.
2. Extensive experience in engineering management, specifically within a food manufacturing environment.
3. Demonstrated success in leading operational change and managing large-scale projects.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
5. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
6. You will already hold the right to work in the UK without restriction, as sponsorship is not available with this position.
