We are now looking for an Information Advisor to join us on a part-time basis, working 21 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis, for a seasonal fixed term contract from 29th March 2025 to 2nd November 2025.

The Role
As an Information Advisor, you will provide advice and information to members of the public visiting Exmoor to enhance and support their experience.
Promoting Exmoor’s unique values and enhancing public enjoyment, you will provide a warm welcome and tailored advisory service to visitors at our centre in Lynmouth.
You will ensure the Centre is kept clean, secure, and up to date with attractive displays and support daily operational tasks in the absence of the Centre Manager.
Additionally, you will:
- Assist the Centre Manager in retail functions
- Deliver talks and activities for school, youth and community groups
- Occasionally supervise and train students or interns on placement
About You
To be considered as an Information Advisor, you will need:
- Experience working with the public in a service capacity
- Cash handling experience, including operating a till and reconciling end of day takings
- Knowledge of health and safety relevant to a visitor/public environment
- Knowledge of the Exmoor area
- The ability to present information in an engaging, logical and clear manner to a variety of audiences
