Do you have a passion for customer service?
We are currently looking for talented individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
As a Sales Assistant GPR, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a vital role in making their day!
Due to the shift times, you must live in the local area and have independent transport to ensure timely arrival for early shifts, as train services may not always be available.
All station-based roles may involve standing for long periods and working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be in the Ticket Office or on the station proactively assisting customers in finding the right ticket while delivering excellent customer service. We utilize the latest computer-based ticketing system to provide necessary information to our customers and access our intranet. You should possess the attributes described below to provide the best possible service.
You will also be responsible for keeping the station operational and assisting customers where necessary.
Experience / Skills / Requirements
* A proactive approach coupled with the passion and ability to support and develop your team.
* Exceptional levels of customer service, serving as a role model for others.
* Demonstrable experience in effectively managing customers in difficult environments.
* High level of numerical ability.
* Effective communication skills, demonstrated through your application and assessments.
* Confidence to make customer-focused decisions and carry out instructions effectively.
Please note that as this role is a 'General Purpose Relief', you will be obliged to work at other stations covering the Bedford - Cricklewood area as required.
