The Role
This role is ideal for someone with previous senior claims handling experience in commercial property, liability & motor. As Claims Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our claims function, managing a portfolio of claims throughout the journey, from FNOL to settlement.

Key Responsibilities
* Management of claims from First Notification of Loss to settlement
* Review complex claims and make informed decisions on coverage
* Ensure that claims are properly documented and that all relevant information is gathered
* Communicate clearly and with empathy to clients
* Identify potential risks within the claims process and implement strategies to mitigate them
* Prepare and review regular reports related to claims status, financial reserves, and department performance
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet regulatory standards and company needs
* Work closely with other departments to deliver the best customer outcomes
Skills and Experience
* 5 years’ experience of commercial claims handling within a broking environment
* Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to process work quickly and efficiently
* Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
* Wide understanding of the claims process and key stages of the claims journey
* Commercial awareness and strong inter-departmental collaboration

* Accuracy of data and documentation
* Maintenance of own diary & pipeline
* CPD of 35 hours (minimum) achieved
