We organise bars, food and markets for some of the biggest festivals & events across the UK and Ireland.
Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and effective management of revenue reporting and reconciliation processes within our Norlin Live group, which operates across various venues and events.
This role is suited for an AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant who is keen to develop their career in a dynamic industry setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Reporting: Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and annual revenue reports, analysing trends and providing insights on financial performance.
- Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliations of revenue accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records and adherence to internal controls.
- Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis, comparing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and report findings to management.
- Budgeting Support: Assist in the formulation of budgets and financial forecasts, with a particular focus on revenue expectations based on historical data and market analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop financial presentations for internal stakeholders, such as department heads and the executive team, to communicate key revenue metrics and financial trends.
- Collaborative Projects: Partner with operational teams,, to align financial reporting with business strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant, actively pursuing further professional accreditation (e.g., ACCA or CIMA).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial analysis role, ideally within the hospitality, F&B, or events sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information in an understandable manner.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in revenue management and recognition.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Xero, SAP or Oracle.
