Estates Officer - Property Management

We are currently seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join the Property Services team of our North Devon Client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in the management of a corporate property estate, providing services such as landlord and tenant advice, valuations, and agency support. You'll also be involved in a range of exciting projects, collaborating with both internal teams and external consultants to achieve the organisation's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Corporate Property Estate, ensuring it is efficiently maintained and fully compliant with all regulations.
2. Provide expert landlord and tenant advice, along with property valuations and agency services.
3. Work alongside internal teams and external consultants to support the delivery of key projects and corporate objectives.
4. Contribute to the ongoing development of the estate's strategy and performance.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
1. Full Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
2. RICS-accredited diploma or degree in Estate Management or a related General Practice field.
3. Registered Valuer with the RICS.
4. Proven management experience or a relevant management qualification, ideally within a technical or property team.
5. In-depth knowledge of property law, estate management practices, and valuation techniques.
6. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
7. Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines, and manage a varied workload under pressure.
