Job Summary: They are are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable team and ensure the efficient processing of all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and a proven track record in managing accounts payable staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Monitor and analyse accounts payable data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
* Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience in managing an accounts payable team.
* Previous experience in the housing sector is essential.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
