Industrial Electrician - Permanent
Location –Glenrothes (projects throughout central Scotland)
Salary - £Competitive DoE plus associated benefits

They have successfully and continually expanding their customer base, industry knowledge and expertise in a global market.
At present they seek Industrial Electricians to service clients across Scotland on a full time, permanent basis. You’ll be working with an established team to assist in their continued successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors including, but not limited to, Power, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Food and Beverage, and Bio-Energy.
Key duties for this role include:
Install cable containment systems to a high standard safely.
Install, gland, terminate cable systems mainly used in the industrial sector to BS 7671 and supplied drawings.
Install electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturer’s instructions.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Work at height to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and standards.
It would be advantageous to have knowledge of installation, maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial systems
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Fully qualified electrician with skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical equipment and components
ECS Grading Card – must be current/in date (BS 7671 Training, Approved Health and Safety Assessment)
Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations
Fully qualified to 18th Edition
