YOUR IMPACT The Corporate Actions Team is seeking a motivated professional to support day-to-day execution of event processing, ensuring timely submission of elections thereby supporting our businesses, clients and stakeholders on critical loan corporate action events. We seek team orientated candidates who can demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize risk accordingly in a fast paced and demanding environment. Team members are expected to be able to consistently deliver on day-to-day execution as well as contribute to strategic organizational goals. OUR IMPACT The Loans Corporate Actions team supports corporate action lifecycle events on bank loans where GS is acting as a lender. The Loans Corporate Actions team is responsible for ongoing management of information related to each loan or portfolio of loans; this includes amendment/waiver/consent processing, credit agreement financial covenant tracking and ballot/bankruptcy solicitation. We are responsible for sourcing corporate action event information, disseminating to the impacted stakeholders and submitting the desks decisions to the Agent/Company. Job Summary And Responsibilities Gain a comprehensive understanding of the loan product lifecycle Develop attention to detail by ensuring all bespoke deal amendments are accurately communicated with both internal and external stakeholders Use your inquisitive mind set to identify bespoke requests from loan borrowers Leverage your quantitative skills to decompose complex loan restructures and ensure booking are complete within timelines Grow with the team; develop a deeper understanding of complex transactions and work with our business partners to progress on organizational goals Assume accountability and ownership of complex situations, offering own expertise to influence outcomes Risk Management – Partner with regional management team to provide effective oversight of key Asset Servicing Functions Deliver consistent client service through partnerships with other teams and divisions Deliver day-to-day issue resolution through effective time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking Continually adapt to changes in the business, markets and regulatory environment Develop client service skills through daily interactions with colleagues across Operations, Finance, Legal, Credit, Sales & Trading, and Technology are crucial to the role to ensure excellent client service is provided to our wide client base Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks associated with amendments and waivers workflows Basic Qualifications Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail. Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal and external clients with differing levels of product experience. Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
