One of my developer clients has a need for someone who has a strong background in Fire Safety Regulations and also has a strong awareness of commercial aspects of projects. They need someone who can work closely with external consultants to ensure legacy and future projects adhere to Building Regulations. The ideal candidate will have spent some time working in a consultancy environment but also with a top 100 contractor or developer. They need someone who can get into the details of projects and can work with other disciplines to achieve the required standards.
The projects range in size and value from £40m - £120m and are all new build residential schemes on brown and greenfield sites across the London area.

1. Substantial experience in the construction industry
2. Good understanding of Government Fire Remediation contract to remedy Fire Safety Defects
3. Strong communicator at all levels with both internal teams and external consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
4. Good cost/commercial awareness
5. Ideally Chartered
6. Demonstrated longevity in employment history and not jumped around from job to job
7. Good understanding of the fire legacy contract and requirements of the BSR
8. Lives within a commutable distance of the offices in North London
