The Food and Beverage Assistant role: As our Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service at our Forest Retreat, the heart of our location. Open all year round, the Forest Retreat serves as a reception, shop, and café, providing a welcoming space for our guests. You will play a key role in welcoming guests upon arrival and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout their stay. Unlike other hospitality jobs, we provide a better work/life balance than most other hotels or bars can provide. Our opening hours are location dependant, but with our morning shift starting no earlier than 8 am and our evening shift finishing by 9 pm, we offer a different experience of working in hospitality. You will be a role model for the team, leading by example and ensuring high standards of service and professionalism. In this role you must deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys the perfect Forest Feeling experience. Your Responsibilities: Providing support and motivation to the Food and Beverage Team to ensure high morale and productivity. Delivering training to the team, ensuring they are knowledgeable and equipped to provide exceptional service. Ensuring all areas are properly stocked with the correct inventory and supplies. Conducting regular health and safety checks, including food safety and hygiene standards. Monitoring and maintaining the quality of food and beverage service, ensuring it meets our high standards. Managing the team’s workload, ensuring efficient service and timely order fulfilment. Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate departments. Ensuring compliance with all company policies, food safety regulations, and health & safety standards. Leading by example to promote professionalism, teamwork, and outstanding customer service.
