This role has a starting rate of £11.50 per hour. On successful completion of the probation period, you will receive an increase to £12 per hour and £50 in "love to Shop" vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us.
* To provide an unforgettable experience starting with Reception – not just on arrival but throughout the whole process of booking to departure.
* To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual – Reservations, Sales, Check In and Check Out Procedures.
* To achieve sales in line with company objectives.
* To promote additional products and services within the hotel and group brand.
* To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
* To maintain high standards of hospitality, processing bookings, upselling, salesmanship, financial and reporting diligence.
* To support the reservations team with booking support.
* To ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally in accordance with hotel policy.
* To ensure a good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
* Stock replenishment of department areas.
* Ensure daily updates are communicated throughout the hotel.
* Follow legislation relating to job role.
* To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
