Cadent is the UK’s largest Gas Distribution Company, operating 4 of the 8 UK Gas Distribution Networks (East of England, London, North West, and West Midlands). Their service spans over 131,000 kilometres of pipes supplying to 11 million homes & businesses.

This position has a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience, in addition to a fantastic benefits package including pension contribution matched up to 10%.
Role Requirements:
1. Full UK Driving Licence
2. Surveying, organising, planning and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and contractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination is maintained at all times.
3. Responsible for ensuring that projects are planned, managed and delivered to the highest standards of safety, compliance, customer excellence, and commercial control.
4. Management of the entire site and control of all resources to complete the works satisfying the requirements of the design, legislative (e.g. CDM), regulatory and Cadent / Costain technical standards, policies and procedures.
5. Ensure that communications are delivered effectively so that operatives understand Costain/Area/personal objectives, standards of service and Costain performance. Deliver as appropriate toolbox talks, safety briefings, and team briefs.
6. Champion sustainability, safety, health, and environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive.
7. Have integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way.
8. Must be customer focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating, and meeting their needs.
