Band 6 Occupational Therapist
They are open to speaking to candidates on band 6 level with a view to offering a long-term contract with an hourly pay rate of £25 - £27 P/H.
Essential criteria to be considered for this role:
To provide a key role in facilitating the seamless transition from community hospital to patient’s own home and transferring the care of the patient to other appropriate services to maximise the patient's independence and quality of life. To complete Occupational Therapy assessments of patients with diverse presentations, with complex physical and psychological diagnoses, to inform treatment planning based around agreed and realistic goals. To use appropriate outcome measures in order to provide evidence of effectiveness of Occupational Therapy input.
* Minimum 6-12 months of NHS experience in acute setting, i.e. General Medicine, Elderly Care, Surgery (candidates who currently are gaining NHS experience on a Band 3 or Band 4 level will be considered as Band 5’s)
* Hold Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration
* Be available to commence the role within a maximum of 2-4 weeks from the confirmation and happy to commit to a minimum period of three months
