The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of best practice with a focus on defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and providing for Continuous Improvement. Responsible for assisting the QA Co-Ordinator in ensuring product quality, daily monitoring and reporting of issues within production and store areas. This role is a fixed term 6-12 months contract. Responsibilities Work in accordance with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System in accordance with company regulations and certifications. Work in cross functional teams to develop process FMEA, Control Plans Analyse data and implementing process and product improvements to reduce Risk Support APQP process to ensure processes can deliver to the required quality standards Co-ordinate and identify activities of QA Technicians Assist with training and awareness including quality alerts Manage MRB disposition and investigations Identify key processes and quality gates with measurable outputs Support quality improvement through root cause analysis (RCA) & Non-conformance (NC) management Support No faults Forward culture Support cost of non-quality elimination activities with realisation of sustainable benefits Support process confirmation schedule and project requirements Support internal audit programme Perform verification of corrective actions of quality issues Review and evaluate process quality data to identify process improvement opportunities.
