About You About The Role Your role as PPC Technical Account Manager: As a PPC Technical Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients across multiple platforms and a variety of budgets. In addition to client work, the PPC Technical Account Manager is responsible for coaching, mentoring and developing the junior team. Anyone coming into this role will be supported fully from both a technical and operational aspect and will have the opportunity to help shape the products we use, the way we communicate and how we deliver Paid products to our clients. Main Accountabilities Manage a portfolio of clients’ paid search campaigns, across multiple networks Conduct calls with clients and sales to discuss and plan campaigns Setup, implement, track and optimise PPC campaigns across several search engines and markets Undertake and be responsible for keyword research, analysis and strategy Provide cost estimates and ensure robust budget management Ad Copy writing and testing Tracking setup (including tracking codes generation, goals and funnels setup) Prepare and deliver monthly reports & attend monthly progress meetings with clients Analyse PPC campaign performance and recommend next steps Understand the objectives of, and participate in creating quarterly reports, client decks and future roadmaps in line with the agreed KPI’s You will work closely with other teams within the organisation to ensure we deliver consistently across the board Delegate appropriate tasks to Executives Core Knowledge and Skills High levels of organisation, determination and persistence The ability to delegate tasks and support executives to make sure all tasks are completed to deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer service ethos with the ability to build lasting relationships Demonstrate consistent and meticulous attention to detail A strong understanding of audience and targeting skills Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are consistently met and proactively managed A strong ability to work within a team and independently Strong leadership skills and lead by example A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to seek out opportunities in order to develop knowledge Be a technical point of contact and confidently share knowledge Display exceptional traits of ownership and accountability Be a confident presenter – frequently reflecting on opportunities to develop and share experience with the team Continuously support peers and mentor/coach those less experienced in the team Confidently manage medium to large-sized clients, delegating tasks appropriately. Qualification/Experience Requirements Considerable experience in a PPC role within a search agency Advanced knowledge of data manipulation, with a clear understanding and application of data downloading, formatting and analysis Experience in confidently building roadmaps and advise clients on strategy in line with agreed KPI’s and without guidance or support Demonstratable experience in identifying new development opportunities to improve service Strong knowledge of Excel Experience in search, display, video and shopping campaigns Be a master of different interfaces such as Google Ads, Microsoft etc Completion of the core Google Ads certificates Outline of typical goals and OKR's for the role: Meet monthly targets Achieve 95% TAM renewal rate Allocate time effectively to keep within the available hours for your accounts Maintain productivity at 65% Support your peers and the team Collaborate closely with Executives to jointly deliver accurate and timely client reports, meeting reporting deadlines as a shared responsibility Complete any TAM requests assigned to you by the due date Delegate all appropriate tasks to Executives and provide clarity and guidance for all tasks delegated Identify Exec Knowledge gaps and provide training and support This is a hybrid role split between home and office working, ensuring you work from your contracted office on the relevant allocated day (Harrogate Tuesday, Manchester Wednesday, Leeds Thursday).
