Purpose of Role
We are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to maintain various retail contracts across Warrington and the surrounding areas.
Job Description
The Fabric Engineer would be responsible for undertaking building fabric and basic plumbing maintenance works including PPM servicing and reactive breakdown repairs covering building fabric (door furniture, fire door maintenance, ceiling and floor tiles etc), minor plumbing repairs (sinks flow checks, flushing, taps, toilets etc) as well as supporting with basic electrical (emergency lighting, lamp/ballast changes). The successful candidate must have a UK driver’s license with no drink driving offences and be happy working on a mobile basis across the North West (including Chester, Cheshire, Widnes, Warrington and Liverpool).
Responsibilities
1. Undertake building fabric maintenance.
2. Perform basic plumbing maintenance.
3. Support with basic electrical maintenance.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
* Proven building maintenance experience
* Recognised NVQ Level 2 in a building trade
* Good communication skills
* Good understanding of Health & Safety processes and policies
* Experience of using a handheld device (PDA)
* UK Drivers License (no more than 6 points)
