Your role as a Commercial Administrator will be integral to the success of this ambitious venture.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team, providing essential support across sales, strategic procurement, and project management functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in data management, invoice verification, and reporting, ensuring smooth operations and accurate information flow within the business. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent communication skills, as you’ll be working with both internal teams and external global suppliers.
Responsibilities:
1. Entering customer drawings into our MTO (Material Take Off) worksheet.
2. Assisting in the maintenance of mill price data.
3. Supporting monthly reporting processes, including cash flow predictions.
4. Ensuring incoming invoices are accurate and liaising with suppliers to confirm that the correct quantities of plates are received.
5. Maintaining and entering data into the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and reporting consistency.
6. Generating ERP data reports, screening telephone inquiries, and responding to information requests from suppliers.
7. Assisting with the administration of key strategic supplier data and ensuring that all necessary documents, reports, and presentations are produced to a high standard.
8. Managing key office systems, filing, scanning, and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with pivot tables and generating formulas, to track supplier price movements and assess the impact on project costs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential. Additionally, you’ll need to be self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a sales office administration role, be comfortable with finance processes, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to accurately input and analyze data is critical to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
