The Role
Seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of local businesses, identifying their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions that help them grow.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
* Sales and Revenue Targeting: Work to achieve sales and revenue targets that align with the company’s objectives, driving local sales activity and reporting on KPIs to ensure target delivery.
* Market Research & Prospecting: Research and identify new business opportunities from a variety of sources (CRM’s, online tools, canvassing), including spend trends and market analysis.
* Sales Strategy: Develop, implement, and execute successful sales strategies and growth plans to expand the client base
* Marketing Campaign Follow-Up: Ensure effective follow-up on marketing campaigns and leads, leveraging them into tangible business opportunities.
* Brand Awareness & Networking:
* Identify and convert new prospects into long-term clients, utilizing a combination of company processes and your own sales experience.
* Marketing: Identifying and creating and executing marketing material and campaigns (with the aid of the in house, head office based marketing team).
