Salary: 85- 100 per day

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), such as autism, ADHD, and specific learning difficulties.
* Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
* Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students are engaged and able to access the curriculum.
* Support students with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties, using positive reinforcement techniques and promoting independence.
* Help students develop key life skills, including communication, social interaction, and self-regulation.
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
* Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to the SENCO, teachers, and parents.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, either in a classroom setting or in a support capacity.
* A strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for supporting individual needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting every child's learning journey.
* A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or SEN support (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
* Right to work in the UK
