Due to continued success and new project acquisitions they are keen to identify an Estimator that is keen to join progressive and innovative organisation.
The Candidate:
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction estimating,
Experience in handling large-scale or complex projects.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Causeway or similar tools).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local
regulations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
A sound working knowledge of project management principles.
Demonstrated understanding of the use of first principles estimating.
Mentoring junior staff and fostering client relationships.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Awareness of current health and safety requirements and changes
The Role:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
from first principals.
Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine project scope and
requirements.
Identify potential risks and include contingencies in cost assessments.
Provide and manage an overall bid estimate which can be presented at distinct governance
gateways (mid-bid and settlement)
Develop competitive bids and proposals in line with company strategies.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, project managers, and
engineers.
Managing tender processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best value and compliance
with project specifications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
Maintain records of historical costs and project data to support accurate future estimates.
Prepare detailed reports and cost breakdowns for client presentations and internal reviews.
Supervise and mentor junior estimators, providing guidance and feedback to support their
professional development.
Stay updated on market trends, construction technologies, and cost benchmarks.
