Ward 33 ASU (Acute Stroke Unit) The North Mersey Stroke Service focuses on providing timely and specialist care for strokepatients from across the North Mersey area.It provides a wide range of services including acute stroke support and assessment,rehabilitation, and all aspects of inpatient care to patients from the Royal Liverpool UniversityHospital, Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital and Southport Hospital sites. The Acute Stroke Unit is a 34 bedded Acute Stroke Ward with Aintree Rehab patients. The Ward accounts for a wide range of services providing Acute stroke Support and assessment, rehablitation and all aspects of inpatient care to patients. The successful Candidate will be be responsible for the assessment planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care. Work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary team providing patient centred care.
