THE COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Fews has over 24 years’ experience of supplying temporary structure solutions to private customers, businesses and events throughout Europe. Several years ago our MD – Ian Few decided to launch Fews Temporary Buildings that is backed up by a team of experienced project managers, site managers, foremen and installation crews as well as a large inventory of high quality temporary buildings.
Fews brings to market a range of high-quality temporary buildings for industrial use whether that be seasonal storage, temporary warehousing & storage, logistic canopies, emergency cover and much more for customers throughout the UK. Based in Worcestershire, Fews are perfectly positioned to service businesses across the UK and offer a personal service, free site visits and fast response times.
Expansion of the Industrial team, and general business growth has led to the creation of this role to help vital day to day sales activities and to work with the Head of Industrial Structures and the rest of the team in helping expand and grow the business for the future.
JOB SUMMARY:
To work around the UK, and subject to customer demand our Area Sales Managers (ASM) are employed to generate Sales & Hire revenue by implementing and executing strategies to achieve sales targets that are set out by the company. The ultimate aim of an ASM, whilst promoting growth through sales, is to be vital first point of contact with our customers and to help them on their sales journey from enquiry through to conclusion and project handover.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy
* To work with the sales strategies set out by the business to achieve the various objectives within the assigned geographical area.
* To help to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential growth opportunities.
* Help drive the execution of promotional activities, and sales campaigns to maximise revenue.
* To achieve Hire and Sales targets for Fews products through individual new business customers and potential repeat business.
* To plan sales coverage to ensure that all customers are contacted at the required frequency, and that our customers are at the front and centre of everything you do.
* To ensure that all sales enquiries generated by the business are thoroughly followed up to achieve the various targets and KPI’s you will be given.
* To actively pursue all areas of New Business Development within the assigned geographical area.
Customer Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
* Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs, resolving issues, and providing high-quality service.
* Develop and execute customer retention and expansion strategies.
* To update and maintain the company’s HubSpot CRM system on a daily / weekly basis.
Market Analysis and Reporting
* Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry developments and potential business opportunities within your area.
* Provide insights and feedback to Head of Industrial Structures regarding market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
* To prepare sales forecasts and reports as and when required by the Head of Industrial Structures.
* To prepare various reports and when required by the Head of Industrial Structures.
Collaboration and Communication
* Work closely with other departments within Fews, such as marketing, operations & project management teams to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.
* Communicate effectively with everyone at Fews in providing updates on job progress and market & competitor challenges.
Compliance and Ethical Standards
* Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
* To uphold, at all times, the company's reputation & brand by acting with integrity and professionalism.
* The ASM must conduct business in a fair and ethical manner whilst protecting Few’s best interests at all times.
* Maintain in good and safe condition all company assets under your control and observe the Company procedures at all times.

The ASM is required to carry out any additional duties that match their skills as per management instruction to meet business needs.
