Take a closer look at the role: Job description: We have a challenging opportunity for a Senior Lifing & Parts Allocation Controller to join the Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient allocation and management of lifing and parts resources throughout our operations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to optimize logistics and supply chain processes to meet our demanding performance objectives. What you will be doing: Manage the lifing process of all race components, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Develop and maintain parts allocation strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize downtime. Collaborate with Project Delivery Leads to assess parts usage and forecast future requirements. Conduct regular assessments of component performance and durability, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Prepare detailed reports on lifing data and parts allocations for management review. Utilize ERP systems effectively for tracking inventory and allocation processes. Lead and mentor junior team members in lifing best practices and inventory management. Continuously seek improvements in processes and methodologies relating to parts lifing and allocation. Requirements Extensive experience in parts management or engineering within the motorsport or automotive industry. Strong understanding of lifing principles and inventory management practices. Proficiency in using ERP systems and other inventory management software. This role will include weekends. Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, with the capability to collaborate across multiple departments. Leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing team members. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
